Michael Hoagland
Michael Hoagland is a professional singer, dancer, composer, lyricist and arranger. Michael is a graduate of Ball State University where, under the mentorship of Dr. Fritz Mountford, he received a degree in Entertainment Production focusing on revue and early popular American entertainment. While at Ball State, Michael was a five-year member of the nationally acclaimed Ball State University Singers. As a performer, Michael has been seen on stage in the European tour of Cabaret, Carnival Cruise Lines, Virginia Opera, Opera New Hampshire, Indianapolis Symphony’s Yuletide with Sandi Patti, Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre, Busch Gardens, Dorney Park, and in numerous regional theatres all over the United States. Currently, Michael serves as Musical Director for Temple Theatre in North Carolina as well as Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre’s Pyramid Players in Indianapolis. His 4 children’s shows and one-hour adaptation of A Christmas Carol are currently being licensed by theatres all over the country and his next project The Counting House of Scrooge and Marley is set to premier in North Carolina this Holiday season. He is a regular casting associate for Beef & Boards from his home-base in New York City where he also serves as a guest composer at Columbia University for their MFA Playwriting program.
