We are a children's chorus of 70+ members in the New Orleans area. We hold a week long chorus camp each summer for our members. We are currently looking for a clinician or clinician team to facilitate our camp for the 2006 summer. The group is comprised of kids ages 8 - 18years and we currently run the chorus year in split groups (dividing by age 8-11 and 12-18) during the weekday rehearsal and bring both groups together for the Sunday rehearsal. Thus, two clinicians would also be an option as teaching strategy depends on the age being taught. However if a single clinician is obtained then we would work with one age group on vocals while the choreographer worked with the other.

There is also an opportunity during the summer of 2006 for an onsite clinician for a day or day and a half workshop in the north GA/TN area. Our show choir, 17-20 members (who are auditioned from the group of 70) travel each summer to chorus camps and or performance venue areas. They have performed several times in Disney Magic Music Days in both Disney World and Disney Land, we have also done a pre-show for the 50's at the Hop show in Branson MO, summer of 2004. and are looking to travel to perform this coming summer 2006. We do also require that it be a learning experience for them, thus we set up a clinician to work with the group while we are on our trip. This position would be a 6 hour or one 6hour and a 3 hour workshop done at a local studio or at the hotel for our group of 17-20 kids ages 12-18.

Each of these two positions would be paid, because of wanting a variety in our show we would not want both of these positions to be filled by the same clinician.
